I'm an extreme noob when it comes to photographing my finds.
I watched a youboob video and now have this setup.
I need a really good macro lens, but this one works pretty well with my D7200.

I've seen some very good treasure pics on this site and am curious how people get those nice shots.
Good Hunting All.

I take 99% of my macro pictures with my Samsung phone! I do have a Nikon D5300 and would love to get the Nikon AF-S VR Micro-NIKKOR 105mm f/2.8G IF-ED Lens.

That's a great set up! And a terrific shot, too. I reinvent the wheel each time I take macro shots. I had momentary brain freeze, trying to attach that compound bow to the camera and tripod.

Nice shot, if macro is your preference get a bellows for your camera.

Over the years I've taken thousands of pictures with perhaps three of which i considered good. I once did a shot of a one troy ounce silver ingot set up on a pillar of lego's, with crumpled tin foil slightly flattened out as the base. Using projected light gave the image stunning results.

Of late I've been on an ear fetish, earlobes are fascinating.

What is a good camera to take these giant close ups with ? I have bought these Microscopic cameras but they do not work with a hoot :(
