well i keep reading about all these scores.so i hafta ask. where are u getting metal? im out in farm areas.city is 25 miles.smaller towns around. i grab anything being discarded that i see that can be fit in a car.it seem like keen competion for even a lawnmower or waterheater. the idea here is hobby or part time.are some of u folk pros? r u advertising somewhere.i spoken to local neighbors and word of mouth got me nowhere. i do see one thing.because of gas there are a lot of old trucks and larger cars for sale cheap.and a lot of folk still seem to think that a junk car is worth about 100 bucks. but even if u can get a title and its driveable to ur location.u still gotta modify to a point then trailer it to yard.is it worth it.

We dont buy anything all the scrap we haul is stuff people are tired of looking at. As far as jobs its all word of mouth...aa

it's the same here. I bet there are people going up and down my alley every 2 hours looking for anything. I don't scrap the heavy metals like steel or iron cause I just don't have room but I put them out at the easement, and they're gone in no time.

Alot of guys found out about the car scrapping. Here, if the motor is out, no title needed to sell, what do you think they're doing? I'm sure the engines don't go to waste either. BTW, they're paying about 235.00 for a junk honda. and getting about 4-500 out of it.
