cool find :) gz!

Good thing you didn't put it in the junk finds and throw it out. Think about it for a while, I'm sure you will remember where you got it from, then you can collect it's friends!
Very nice nugget!

Driving me nuts. I totally remember finding it and there was a lot more machine was going crazy just thought it was a old fire and just melted metal as I hunt water as much land I do remember on land and nothing else around that day problem is I hunt every day and a lot in woods I can say there were smaller pices and are in my junk box. As I save everything so I will be going through that box today does anyone no if a nugget would be found by its self ?? And it was not deep. Just have to think ??? Where was that spot !!!!!!!

Cool save!

It maybe the picture but it doesn't look pure to me. 24K:icon_scratch: Have a look at 24K nuggets online they are much more yellow than yours??

No I haven't looked at anything on line. Just was at jewels getting price on all rings I found last and they seen it in my box and asked if I new what it was I said no just had a little yellow showing they ask if they could look at it and checked with acid all three jewels said its solid 24caret. Was a total surprise to me they said it was a nice nugget and to remember where I found it because there should be more and that a already no. I didn't see that much yellow till they scratched it and asked if they could look deeper and sure enough it's solid. But I do agree with u it looks different then anything I ever seen on tv ???

I'm no gold expert, I just thought that most natural nuggets (assuming its not manmade) had impurities & until you refine it, there would be no way of being sure that it's 'solid' 24K. 23K I would have believed, maybe the jewelry tests are not that accurate.:dontknow:
