Should I keep my EQX06 6 inch Coil?

I recently purchased an equinox 800. It came with three coils. The 6 inch equinox coil, the 11 inch equinox coil and a CoilTek elliptical 10x5 coil.

I'm keeping the 11 inch and the CoilTek.

My question is: Does the stock 6 inch coil offer any advantage over the 10x5 CoilTek? Because if it doesn't I'm thinking about clawing a little money back and selling it.

Depends on what type sites you hunt. In iron infested spots, where there may be a coin on its side between a bevy of nails, the 6” serves a purpose. If you’re beach hunting…….not so much.

I use the 6 inch most of the time on my Nox 900 and 600. I don't do any beach detecting and I found the 11 inch was a bit heavy for all day detecting . I don't have the 10x5 but wish I did..lol I would keep all 3
