So last week I found a spot far back in the az mountains near wickenburg with a bunch of fire agates, I was going to go there this morning but I decided it was too far so I drove about 25min up the highway 60 and I just randomly stopped on the side of the road by a vulcanic looking area parked got out and started walking and I think I found another spot with fire but Im not sure anything is qaulity enough to invest in the tools and time? Hope so this place is much closer! If anyone knows about telling quality of stones in the rough your help in deciding if it's worth it would be much appreciated! Thnx..last pic is some nice clear crystals I picked up but I don't think its qaurtz?

The first 2 pics look good. I'd see if there's a lapidary club you can join first, rather then investing in your own equipment.
To test the waters, in a manner of speaking.

I agree with EU. There are plenty of rock hounds about in AZ, a bunch resident in Quartzite. Go have a chat with them and they will likely point you towards tools.
