Shotgun slugs or what?

Hello all, I pulled these two out of the ground today, about five feet apart. One weighs 26.8 grams, the other 27.2 grams. The ring size on the backs is about 27mm in diameter. They are pretty white, so I figure they've been buried a while. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
