Today we went to our fields to have a look if there is something left to detect. The only one was the one wich brought 3 neolithic axe heads on the last hunts. Only a small stripe wasn't planted so i grabbed the Xp, let the dogs run and went for two rows. This field is cleaned till next plow so i didn't expected much. Got two musket balls, a prussian regiment button No.3 and the 4th axe head! Same material as the "Dechsel" from last week but much smaller. About 2" long, 1 1/2" wide and 1/2" thick. Dates to 5-7000 bc. I hope to get more next fall.

It was. It is badly weathered. These ones are not from flint so the condition declined over the last few thousand years. Did you seen this beauty from the same place?
