Short Video of my Other Hobby

Dang - super VID calisdad. Thanks for sharing...

Good dogs! Nothing like hunting birds with dogs. We have yellow labs that we use for dove hunting. We usually hunt by ponds and about half of the fast flying birds hit the water. A dog is almost required to retrieve these birds and it's a treat to just watch the dogs work. I really like the way your "Bodie" worked.

cool video...kinda scared me with the banjo music...but it turned out ok...:tongue3:

LOL. I asked her to change it from something else and this is what she came up with.

Bodie is quite remarkable. He is the current Quail Point Flushing Champion near Zamora,CA. Vet-Stem Co. sponsored him in this event. He had stem cell surgery this year to fend of arthritis from hip dysplasia. He ranges quite a bit and this new stalking approach of his gives me more time.

The Jerky Boys strike again!
Won their 3rd tournament in a row beating the
NAGDA 2013 National Champ in the process.
Trapper won 1st place and Bodie won 2nd.

Tell the boys that the Milkbones are on me next time I see you. Congrats
Rick

I love bird hunting.

That's wonderful, great video and outstanding pups.

Thanks everyone. We spend a lot of time training. Our last quail hunt of the season was picture perfect. I couldn't be more proud of them and as you can see from the pic Trapper knew it went well and was quite proud himself.

btw- if anyone is wondering about the collar- 1 tone means stop or change direction, 3 tones is recall and vibrate means heel (his idea). No shock required, I removed the probes.

Well Congratulations Calisdad! :headbang:

Any little Trapper's, or Bodie's running around the yard?

Even the names stand out, the best Plott I ever had was Mellow Man.

Homar

Thanks- that's a great name too. I have a method sort of, for names. 1 or 2 syllables at the most, something you can yell LOUD and not be embarrassed doing so.lol

No pups. They would like to but no takers yet.
