It's hard to believe. Last week I was searching for a ring in the snow, this week I'm searching for coins. But, in Nebraska, things can change quite rapidly. I got out for a couple short hunts after work this week and found some wheaties, a couple of silver, and a necklace. It is soooo great to see silver in the dirt again. I found the mercury in a park where I found a barber dime last year, and the rosie came out of a park a couple blocks from my home where I found a seated dime last year. Amazing there is still silver in these parks. I am going to try and add some pics, not sure how I'll do. Happy hunting!!

Nice finds!! I can't wait until the snow is all gone and the ground is soft. I try but keep on running into frozen patches.
How did you clean the wheats?

Fortunately they come out of the ground fairly decent. I use a toothbrush and some soap to clean them, unless it would be a key date. Don't know what I would do then.
