Did a short hunt last night and the first thing I dug up was this strange looking Cyprus coin in Ohio ??? Who knows how it got here ::) Then I dug this weird looking broach. Not sure what the heck it is ??? Then I dug a 3 Wheat pocket spill, all in the 50's. I also dug a gold looking button but I know it is only plated. Unsure of the age. Then I dug the infamous Winchester repeater brass, which I have dug lots of these. Thanks for looking, Ron

good day out.
"just when i'd lost the half piastre i could borrow," to almost quote steely dan...

Two years later and I had almost an identical hunt. I found a 1949 Cyprus 1/2 Piastre, a 10K University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey Pin and two Wheaties...lol.

Had no clue what the Piastre was at first and I was hoping for an old token...oh well. I'll take a Cyprus coin...something different.
