Short hunt yields 2 coppers and more

Hey everyone, Haven't posted in awhile but also haven't been out in quite some time either. Anyways I got out to a cornfield that I usually do well at and got a nice 1809 half cent, a toasted KGIII, a musket ball, buttons and a few other things. However I was wondering If someone could ID the little hooked thing that I was holding in the one pic. I've dug a few but never knew what they were. Thanks for looking! CC

Nice finds. It looks an awful lot like it's a piece of one of those hooks that you use to hook a leash to a dog collar. Sorry but i do not know what they are called..heh
