Short Hunt With The Etrac

Pictures preferred here, cannot do videos here.

Hope this does not sound like a harsh criticize its not meant to be, trying to be helpful here ! Maybe your grass out there is more resilient than ours but just from the opening picture frame =( Which is all I will see here.

Looks like your going to have dead grass there (while plugging don't think you should detach the plug, breaking / cutting roots on all four sides out here typically gives high rates of dead grass), hope that is not a public area, less digging (screwdriver retrievals) equals less work also, this is a great thing when most targets are shallow, don't know how deep things are in your spot usually(yeah a good plug might be less work when targets are six inches deep or more typically). Screwdriver retrievals are definitely the preferred method now out here, in public areas !! I find that very often on my machine low conductivity items are often more shallow (even when displays says they are 4 inch +) than medium to high conductive items. Maybe you don't dig many foil level signals but I do =)

I like pic's better also.

I just watched the video ( most cause it's short , but also to verify the first post).

It seems to me his soil is VERY moist & cuts like butter ,also the Merc & wheat dug look to be at about 6+ - inches.

He did not cut his plugs on all four sides, just looks like it in the picture.

He is also hunting some type of trail into the woods & he also states it looks like someone else had been digging the area before him ' Someone Who does not pin-point well'

Imo I will give him an A in his plug digging.:icon_thumleft:
&
He got a nice Dime as well.

I love that type of soil ,' as I said " Cut like Butter"

Glad to see the OP Got Out.

Davers:thumbsup:
