Had about 3 hours today and weather was PERFECT. Had a spot where I'd found a bunch of dropped 3 ringers. It amazes me that I can go back a week later and find so many more. What the heck?! Was I a sloppy hunter then and better today or what?? Same method, same speed, same spot. I know you don't find EVERYTHING, but this is crazy! How could I miss so many?? Found a damaged eagle button, a couple of button backs and some P caps. Really good day for only a few hours.

NICE HUNT - NICE HAUL

Nice saves. Congratulations. Took a friend to one of my spots, that I've hunted for over 20 years, a few weeks ago. He found a confederate frame buckle. Good sites just keep producing and we wonder how we could have missed it. Matter of inches. It's one of the things that's great about this hobby.

What is that object in the picture with your fingers? I've found one of those and don't know what it is

Good stuff parson, keep at it. I have a spot or two that I'll hit up two or three times a yr. and will come out with lead. I all ways say the same thing how did I miss it? I just keep digging them up. Very nice hunt. Work it tell it stops. HH......

More great finds from old Virginia!
