That's shield is freakin cool I hope it gets an I'd nice button I wish I had sites like that in my boring town lol Well done

Very cool saves:icon_thumright:

I would love to find that many keepers in such a short hunt. You saved a couple of nice pieces of history that are in excellent condition. Congrats

Great finds, congrats! :occasion14:

Both items are great, and I dont know much about either, but, I get the feeling that top button is something special.:headbang:

That naval button is spectacular!

Awesome finds! Congrats!

Nice finds for sure, thanks for sharing.

Sweet! love the eagles. Interesting that the one on the brass shield is holding olive branches in both feet, instead of arrows and olive branches.

Spectacular. hunting the iron fields requires the patience of Job. An attribute I do not possess
. Lost more than one useless pinpointer because of it.

Unique for sure . Embossed Eagle has a Union army look from the CW era .
Very cool relic indeed, Good field relic !

I have no idea what the button is but it looks like a real keeper. Great Patina and I'm curious are there any markings on the back? That eagle plate thing looks really cool too. I'm sure if this post is up long enough someone will be able to identify those things for you!

JP LONDON is the maker.

Man, those are both super cool! Love the shield!!!

I'm stating the obvious here but it sounds like it was British made. Crusader who posts on here a lot might know something about it.

I have the maker, Pitt, or Pitter. Trying to see if anyone has info on the shield shaped eagle.
