Good evening my friends: Had a little time tonight so I had to get in another hunt as we had some rain on Wednesday. Hit the front yard as this seems to be the area I want to focus my attention to. I have hunted this yard over and over and I keep getting new hits. No place is ever hunted out as I am a firm believer of this. Soil dampness, the way you swing your coil, and lots of patience (as I am finding this to be a key factor) nice, even, slow swings seems to be working for me. If I get a beep one way, I'll start working that area in different directions until I get a clear signal to dig. Nice and cool, no bugs or sweat to tend to has really helped me focus more clearly than during the hot summer months. Anyways, 1 hour into the hunt after digging 5 square nails comes a clear, decisive signal that can only be one thing.... A coin. 6 inches down and out pops another green injun. A little worn as the liberty is not visible around the head. Mr.McDonald must have dropped this :D Nothing but good wheather the rest of the week. So hopefully I'll find some more oldies. That's 7 Injuns from this property, and 2 large cents and a bunch of cool relics. Thanks for looking Ron
