Went out yesterday and took care of a pit that was held off through the winter. Probed this one back in October and never got the chance to dig it up until now. So it felt good with a lot of layering going on. Of course we had to chop our way through numerous roots from the nearby tree. 
But we got through it and made the Use Layer at about 4 feet or so and out pops this cool Brant's Pulmonary Balsam. A nice tooled top collar lip and just kinda crude.
Located a couple of cone inks along the way as well. A lot of broken lamps and a heart breaker Anheuser-Busch blob beer. Ugh I hate that. 
Oh well we hammered on through the 1 foot thick use layer and were rewarded with a nice roll off to the edge of the pit Blobber! 
A nice amber C. Hans jr. quart. I was happy about that one. Finished up with some drizzle and rain. What turned out to be a pretty nasty day weather wise turned out a couple of decent finds. Until next time be safe out there and Happy Hunting. jgas
