Short Day Trip -- first ring 2012

[SHERMANVILLE ILLINOIS]

Lots going on this weekend, so I thought I would get out for
a few hours.


Stopped by Calumet Fisheries. Smoked and fried fish; take out only;
Been there since the 40’s; by Lake Michigan. I hunt the old neighborhoods
in the area, Illinois/Indiana line.


Went out to the beach ate my fried fish. Cold wind, decided to stay off the beach
and work grass areas……………..garbage, slaw, bad. Got into some small
patches of bushes…………….BINGO………….1st ring of the year. Think it is a child ring.
Silver is always nice.

Smoked fish for the weekend.
