I love when I find those early wheats - always a good sign - keep it up

That looks like a good spot. I would go back when I can. That's a nice ring in you're avatar.

Good finds this trip, maybe silver on a return. Good job!

I was Hoping for silver. The place has only Produced Early wheats & an Indian so Far :(
Not that I'm Complaing on the finds here, but
no silver coins for me anywhere since Sept last year :(

Congrats on all the gas rebate you found. Like you I to found a 1919 wheat last Sunday and no silver. Like Scruggs said maybe on a return trip. I myself stopped listening to the weatherman. He tells you snow so he can go detect your good spots :laughing7:.

1919 was a bunker year for producing wheats over 392,000,000 in philadelphia
most years were under 100,000,000
my very first coin dig with a detector was 1919 and I do find them often

Hey, we don't appreciate the use of 4 letter words on here (s**w). Next time, the cold white stuff! LOL. The elusive silver. Good luck and Keep Swinging!!

Congrats on your short but productive hunt!

Always a great time hunting near a church!!!!

Out there detecting on the "green" while you can, before it's buried with that white stuff, we won't talk about.
Nice old wheat and clad collection.
Interesting loop in the trash pile, a bracelet maybe?

You know what they say Jeff, where there's early coppers, there's likely to be silver.
Maybe try hunting with no discrimination if you head back there. :icon_scratch:

Looks like a nice spot. Early Wheat's are always a good coin. Congrats on your finds.

AARRGGHHH! SNOW!!!:BangHead: Well, it's 36 degrees here today so I am preparing to bundle up and get after some old stuff for a few hours anyway while I can still "hack" it.:laughing7: Any old wheat is a good one whether a billion were minted or not. I hope you get a few more days reprieve from that nasty snow!:icon_thumright:
