Property sold and now in the process of cleaning out father-in-laws shop. Boxes and boxes of lots of broken odds and ends. but not all is broken I am finding.
Under a work bench lifted cardboard box, bottom fell out rocks all over the place, scooped up in dust pan along with all manner of 60-70 years of accumulated shop debris...
looks like maybe a Big Sandy?

That’s a nice point! I would say big sandy also!

Holy moly that's awesome I would love going through all that keep the pics coming

thanks to all for the remarks. Tdog that county just a joke from some tv show.
I can only judge from the looks of things in this batch that it came from E Tx or maybe even Ark as kin used to live and stomp around these areas. This was picked years ago by undetermined family member.
other items I'll be displaying (if y'all put up with me, lol) will help narrow it down maybe.
Here are some crinoid stalk "beads" if you will. A couple have been modified. And one I know nothing about but is pretty nice. Sure would be nice to know something about it.

The best of that lot is at 3:00. That one bead is bad adze. I can buy, here in Al, a load of driveway pea gravel chock full of crinoid fossils cheap.

Thanks uniface and tdog. I agree crinoids are/were real common round here as well. The one bead is cool and an end view may surprise you.
