Back at one of the private digs I’ve skipped over this hit because it didn’t sound that great and it was pretty deep usually ends up being junk but this morning I decided to just dig it and this is what was making all the noise it was about 14in down I thought I had found it when I pulled out a 4in square nail but signal got better as I dug I have no idea what it is looks like a shoe buckle maybe 7E08CC36-181F-494F-B225-E85CF8DD99CA.jpeg

Sorry it's not a shoe buckle. It is some type of apparel buckle and probably dates to the early 1900s. but definitely not a shoe buckle.

I agree with Steve. I Don't believe it is either. But close.

It looks like you would slip a paper under the rectangle with a name and screw/nail it on a drawer above the pull for reference. A filing cabinet thing. Gary
