✅ SOLVED Shoe Buckle?

I found this yesterday in a field where there was some Confederate encampments, also an early 1900's farm house used to be in the same area. It could be modern, but I have no idea. Looks like a belt buckle, but again, I can't tell. If anyone can give me some info, I would be much appreciative.
