Got out to a site that hasn't produced much in the past and today was no exception. Did manage a worn George II and the find of he day was the shoe buckle. A break in the tine but it's still complete and intact! Will be trying another site later this afternoon.

Nothing wrong with that hunt buddy! Something about that particular style of shoe buckle that I just love. Really cool shape

Awesome man, a complete shoe buckle is still on my top ten list (swear word)
Good luck this afternoon.
Great temps, decent humidity today.

May not make it out for an afternoon hunt...find of the day came from a yard sale!!

That my friend can get you to some tough sites. Just don't roll it :-)

nice Buckle ...is difficult to find whole .

looks awesome

You are reading my mind!
I have an island site that has produced awesome finds. 2 hunts has produces a 1782 2 Reales, 1877 Seated Dime, 1821 Large cent, 1851 20 centimes, very old brass hex pistol barrel, colonial felling axe, and a silver button. So get that sucker out on some remote island and clean it up. You may need to buy another to haul your treasure back :-)

Hard to find complete! Nice score

Who cares about a little wear & tear? It's a complete colonial-period shoe buckle. You don't find those everyday. Congrats!

Indeed...and for all I know it could have been thrown away because I the broken tine!
