Went out in the scorching heat today. Well, I got an early start but regardless it was still 90 degrees by 11 oclock. Anyhow, I have a little spot that has been producing . ALot of buttons from this site, all with no backmarks. But strangely, only 1 KGII HalfPenny. I"ve been pounding this site to smithereens lately and figured I'd give it another go....glad I did....Nice designed shoe buckle frame, pewter buttons, musket ball, and a tombac......I feel bad though, I've been saving this site for a friend that was supposed to visit CT for a detecting adventure...Well....he doens't have a detector anymore and has lost all interest....soooo...I've been peckin away at it. Thanks for lookin.

I think this is one of the earliest dwellings I have detected.

Nice digs Sniffy. Those pewters are old . I'm headed out right now, first hunt in 6 weeks or more.
Going back to the Nova site now that the wheat's been cut.
