She's Ugly but, She's Mine

Had a good hunt in Dec. and found one of my worse shaped silvers and prettiest silver at the same time, 1854 Seated quarter.
Swinging around in some over grow ivy in the yard of where an old hotel once stood back in the late 1800's. My first decent find of the day was my first ever seated quarter.

You might have a better find than you think. Looks like it could be a counterfeit and rarer than the real thing. I would check to see if it's really silver. Could be lead or something else.

Thanks!! Just glad I could get a date off it. Being my first and probably only one, it doesn't much matter what it looks like. Wouldn't trade it for anything.
