She's out for a walk
Yesterday I met up with maceman66 for the first time and I would like to say that he is a real nice guy. I enjoyed the day of MD'ing and talking about MD'ing with him.
The first old school that we went to was not very good. It has been hit hard in the past, but I did manage to find a 1891 IH and a 1920 wheat.
The second old school that we went too was not a whole lot better. We were digging clad at 6" deep and that's not a very good sign when your looking for old coins, but I did get lucky and found 1 nice keeper at this school and it was a 1934 WLHD at about 5" deep. It would of been nice if we could of found a few more keepers, but that's the way it goes sometimes.
The best part of the day was meeting a guy that enjoy's the hobby as much as I do.
