She Walked into my life on Father's Day
My FIRST Walking Liberty half and i handed her over to the property owner
George's house was built during the civil war and he has given me unlimited detecting privileges so I'm hoping this Walker will give me some good karma for future hunts there. (learned that from Silverfreak on his key date Barber dime).I had marked a strong shallow signal with a stick and wanted to dig it while George was there so he could see how the DFX worked. I threw down some clad coins in the grass to show him how it responded to those and then moved over to where i had put the stick in the ground. It was showing a 92vdi and just an inch and a half deep so i figured it was probably a quarter. man was i wrong,i turned over a small plug and at the bottom of the hole was a big silver!! I pulled out my camera for a pic then pulled out this beauty!! I said "here,you should have this" I did take it home,clean it up some and put it in a coin holder for him and took it back to him later this afternoon.I have a lot of ground to cover here so I'm hoping this is a sign of some more good finds to come..Happy Fathers day!

It would be hard to give that one up but I know you will not regret your decision.
