While watching the 4th of July parade and what’s an old time parade with out a few Indians.

This morning I worked a very small yard “ about 20' X 30' “ before it got too hot out, but the humidity was off the chart. Their was no side or back yard so I figured it would only take me about a hr to work it but it ended up taking me a little over 2 ½ hr because of all of the damn clad penny’s I had too dig to get to the good stuff. I dug about 40 clad penny’s out of this small yard.

For a small yard I sure did find some nice coins. I found a 1888s seated Dime, a 1892 Barber dime, “3" IH’s 1887, 1896, 1906, “2" wheats, a lead toy, a suspender clip and a bunch of clad penny’s.

So far this year I’m up to 88 silver coins and 35 IH’s.

All of the older coins were only 3" to 4" deep.

That is kicking butt on the silver count. You are killing me and all my hunting partners combined. Congratulations.

Thats a cool lead soldier as well as all the coins. I found one just like it. I believe a company named Manoil made them in 1935-up to war time before they went on to make ordinance for the military use. And on another note..I found an 1812 LC in the same yard...So goodluck and get back out there. jgas

wow sweet looking digs for a small yard
sounds like you should go back and slow beep it

It sure would be nice if I could find a LC in that yard.
