I believe that's a back porch behind. woman behind looks old enough to be a parent or grandparent.

after a bit of research it appears she died in 1983 at 72
and at that point Marty was still alive.
born in 1911 she looks 30, but probably in her late teens or early 20's. he may even be Robbing the Cradle. people looked older then with hard life, hair styles and the things they wore. so may date the pic to c1930
looks to me like they may have been celebrating their wedding.
