To celebrate the county's history, local hikers are planning a trek to a cave on Sharp Mountain that may have been used by some of the area's early inhabitants.
"It's a cave which was used by the Lenape people," Patrick M. "Porcupine Pat" McKinney, educational coordinator for the conservation district, said Monday of the Native American tribe.
