These round items have been posted here many times with no positive ID .
Although it was suggested they were for window shade rollers there was never any proof of that.

I love it when "Original Period document" proof of an unidentified relic's ID gets found (and posted for public view). Thanks, Taz. :) Does the document's source tell the date of that catalog?

As far as time-frame, I've personally found a good number of these various window shade parts in context with other period artifacts in 1860's-1880's sites. Not sure how early they may date, yet they do not seem to show up with any frequency in American Civil War period sites or earlier. Popularity of use appears to be more in the late Victorian era.

No it does not tell the catalog date. It was used to ID the rack pulleys (at top)with the patent date on them of 1867, I would say CC Hunter is about right on the time frame.
