Called a sewer of sin and later named after the man who had nothing nice to say about the place (President Taft). Taft, Montana is claimed to be a good place to find hidden caches. Not much remains today, except some interesting facts. It suffered 3 fires, 1910 being the last. The railroad was the main employer followed by prostitution. Said to harbor many criminals, oddly that claim is backed by reports of spring snow melts exposing the victims. When the big fire hit, a call for help to save the town went unanswered, but they did join forces to drink the town dry. The potential is there for this site.
