Found in a down town area where there’s been activity since the 1830’s, civil war activity, and bunch of stuff. This was found what was under a building in downtown built in the 1880’s.

First object is huge. First thought it was a cannonball when it was in the ground but it has that cone on in so I concluded it wasn’t one. Weighs around 8 pounds.

Second is a token or something the size of a half dollar made of lead.

Third I’m not sure but it has a design on it and made of brass. Does the lead piece have a design? It could be a poker chip or game piece that was bent but it's just a guess.

Not that I can see. It’s soaking in warm water right now. I thought the poker chip idea as well. From where I found it up the hill about a 100 yards there was a cannon placement and the city was occupied by the union army. Not sure if there was a building there at the time but there was a rock wall along the original road they used as a wall for the newer 1880’s building

Your 3rd item looks like it may have a "Fleur-de-lis' design on it.

Please use coins or tape measure for a reference. It really helps the treasure sleuth's make a positive I.D. Thanks! Very cool finds btw.

Who knows. I’m serious the spot I found it was literally 100 yards form that cannon emplacement and the town was occupied by the union during the civil war. All of downtown was a free for all. This would have been underneath the building so no telling

I have a penny there now. Bout to get a hammer out there and knock some of the crust off the ball. Has a flat spot in the middle anyways so I highly doubt a hammer will hurt it. It’s solid iron so I’m gonna knock away

I wish I had an idea on that Big iron object. Been knocking some of the crud off of it and thinking about putting it in a bath later. I gotta figure this one out.
