(UPDATE)Several Hunts in Two Towns with Gold and Silver (Pic Heavy)

Been out only a few times in the past month:-\ Here are some finds from the hunts not including the clad and junk. I've been in a dig it all mood, and it's paid off in Spades! The first hunt here in Coeur D'Alene was in the City Park doing a little gridding in a area I have not hit before. Found a beauty 1921 Wheat in great shape, a crusty 1919S Wheat, and the Canada 1919 5 Cent Fishy. They were all within about 10 feet of each other. Not much Silver coming out of this park any more, so I'm happy with the "little" Silver.

Visited Ashland, Oregon last week for plays and a little detecting Lithia Park. Very little left to scoop up there since the park has been detected since the 80s. Dug lots of junk trying to pull some keepers and, again, it paid off. Got the 1914S Barber Dime right next to a sidewalk on a sloping hill about 6" down. The 1924 Wheat came from the top of a hill I've pounded to death in the past. You just cannot find it all!

Back in Coeur D'Alene, got out today to a park near my house. Decided to just dig it all again, and got 10K gold. My first class ring ever!:hello2: Best part is it has the owner's name inside. I've already located his business and will be returning the ring next week while I'm home.

Sorry the pics are so jumbled.

Thanks for looking. GL&HH

Update to this thread:

The Class Ring was returned today to it's happy owner. He lost the ring in 1977 or 78 while playing soccer in the field it was found in. this is my first return, and it feels great to make someones day. He could not believe someone would just hand over gold that had been lost so long.

Thanks for looking again.

Great digs!...let us know how happy the guy is come return time...

Nice stuff.
My motto is, finders keepers. But that's just me.
Good luck

Told my wife the same thing. The ring was likely lost around 78 since it was a few inches down. Will be my first return. Can't wait to see his face.

Cheers,
Mike

Did my first ring return today. It's a good feeling to reunite the owner with a lost item from almost 30 years ago.
