Caution.....Do not Clean a rare...Coin.........Caution..Do not leave it in the solution more than 10 minutes.......I think that was my mistake on half these nickles...The other half looks pretty decent..I let those soak for 10 minutes.....rubbed with baking soda..used a brass brush a little. Then used
Renaissance Micro-Crystalline Wax Polish to pretty them up.....If one of those was an 1885..I would not have cleaned it...
Ohh yeah......I did not wear gloves, and my fingers are brown and will have to wear off....
Thanks TreasureFiend............H.H.

It's all good TreasureFiend.....They turned out alot better than they would with Vinegar and salt...Was No pitting....I will just have to experiment a little more....But I think 10-15 minutes in Lime away is plenty enough to do the job.....I went to sleep last night forgetting 2 of the V nickles soaking...Can you tell which 2 ? The No date & the 1891.......I cleaned those 2 up this morning, and the rest this evening...
