Anyone do this when they go to yard sales? If not,you may want to try it. We pass out cards at most yard sales we go to. Saying I sell for people on eBay. The last 3 days I have gotten phone calls. Today is a lot of jewelry to go see. They had my card and just inheareted a house full of stuff. So the owner had my card and wants me to come look at what she has. But she wants to sell it outright. I have people who call monthly, one lady is a horder and calls weekly as she is cleaning out. Some stuff ill sell for them, others ill buy outright. It's a good gig! ESP when they are like today! I can't tell you the stuff I have seen and its only getting better! Have fun today and This weekend if you're headed out!!

That's an interesting concept but it sounds like a logistical nightmare to me. I presume the original owners don't just hand things over to you trusting you will list them on eBay in a timely manner and get back with them to give them their money after the item sells. I suppose this wouldn't be too big a hassle if you are only handling a small number of items but keeping track of who owns what could get a bit crazy if you have a large number of items from many different owners. But, hey, if it is working for you, more power to ya, brother!

You would be surprised. People and stuff over although I have Arrendonda contract and everything when I talk to protect my own rear. I had a lady one time she wanted to give me a Gorham sterling flatwear. two books of silver coins. A Sterling dresser set and a sterling silver tea set! She goes I trust you. I asked her why? The stuffs worth about six or $7000!! Then she told me that her cousin was the sheriff of the police department here! But no people will just give me the stuff and say here you go! good luck. But I was taking information and email them a list of what I have and I charge 10 $15 per item and get it done! Here is one from last week I'm working on I'm not looking to find anybody else right now so I'm full! So when they call now I'm just looking to buy.

Fascinating... I must say I'm very surprised people are that trusting. I sure as hell wouldn't be. Even at $15 per item, I wouldn't be willing to list other people's stuff on eBay for them. Too much time investment on my end for not enough return. But that is just me. If you are happy with it, that's all that matters.
