Found a bill with a missing number in the serial number, just curious if it has value? 20170726_192410_resized.jpg20170726_172649_resized[1].jpg

Hard to tell if it is altered from the photo. It is a star note so it was a replacement bill to boot. I wouldn't think it has tremendous value but you can ask the currency buyer at www.ha.com If they have interest, it has value. Cheers

IMHO, the $1 bill is likely AU and crisp and it's serial number has not been altered. It is a printing error because if you look closely, the machine that prints the number is the serial number, slipped digits and the next to last digit is stuck between a "9" and "8" or a "9" and "0".

Thanks tdrking and Frank, sent better pictures of the bill to the website trdking provided and got a reply, seems its called a "stuck digit" error and valued between 200-250 dollars!

And here I waste too much time looking for Radar, Repeater, Ladder and Bookend Serial Numbers when I should be looking for "Stuck Digit" Error Notes!:BangHead:

Also, there is likely nine more $1 bills with the same Error (i.e. B 042730_0 * thru B 042730_7 * and also B 042730_9 *) that would be worth a mint if you had the complete set.
