Got to go back to the 1895 house again. There was a lot of use of that property during the late 1700's and early 1800's, because I keep finding older things there. The ground was nice and soft from the 4 inches of hurricane rain we got yesterday, and the misquitoes were out in herds.
Found a nice 1802 draped bust large cent. Unfortunately someone had holed it a long time ago. Guess they didn't want to lose it, (it didn't work). Also found what was left of a key chain with a vermont bottle opener and a key marked USN. Also a nice old button and some suspender parts. Also found a great old steel car which is kind of flat right now. Going to try and fix it a bit and I will post a pic later...Lance

Don't you wish folks would just leave their coins alone? Can't they just drop them gently on the ground and walk away like normal people? ::) Great finds! ;D

Great Finds. Too bad on the hole, but it just makes it that more unique in my eyes.

Keep em coming
