So, Likely Guy, were these photos taken during a period of a full moon? LOL :D
Just kidding. The last pic looks like a rucksack in the foreground. Does that mean that you like to camp and hike?
Best wishes,
Scott

No, but funny now that you mention it, I have been known to howl at the moon. :D

And no again, that's not a ruck sack, it's a lightweight 'cruising vest'. They have a plethora of pockets (great for your GPS, compass, flagging tape, first aid pouch, etc.) and the back is double lined which acts like a big pouch for your lunch and... er... "sodas". ::) The best part is, is that their less likely to hang you up in the bush than something that has a frame.

As for camping and hiking, I started doing less since I started working in the bush. (It's kind of like coming home from work and going back to the factory or office.)

'Til later Scott.

Welcome to Mugs Likely Guy... great pics... whos the pooch?

Thanks for the welcome Jim. That's my best buddy, Chance (short for Fat Chance). He's 10 now and a couple of weeks ago he must have felt like a pup and decided to jump off the back porch, resulting in a severe sprain on his front leg.

A $300 vet bill and 4 to 6 weeks later, I hope that he'll be back to his old self. He's mostly choked that he has to stay home now when I go to work.

There is hardly anything obviously criminal about you!

I would say you have already won half the battle!

Regards,

plehbah

Thanks Plehbah.
I've always loved your insight and passion for the hobby.
Seriously.

In a week or so I hope to post a month's findings. It's totally cool... fantan beads, Chinese coins, dominoes, buckles, funky fish hooks, glass bottle stoppers, medicine vials, on and on.

We're paid to do the job, and everything found, goes to our museum.

Plehbah, no one right now, could remove the smile from my face with a clawhammer!

Best regards to all.

Imagine someone with long hair and a beard living in B.C. :laughing7:
Nice pics from a nice guy! Thanks for posting them and it's hard not to smile looking at a smiley guy. ;D
Cheers,
Dave.

Cheers to you Dave. Sorry for the late reply. Haven't been near a computer for a few days.

Noticed what looks like a steel point in your avatar. I'm off to go find about that.

No worries, I'm sure you are digging up a storm!
Actually it is a prehistoric copper spear point but shhh don't tell anyone!
Take care,
Dave.

Great shot and thanks for the BUMP! I am glad to see it! :icon_sunny: Hows is your puppy now?

Glad to hear again from you Granny. :icon_thumright:

Chance is still fat & happy but suffering a bit from arthritis, though he's on glucosamin now. Not too bad for ten years old.

I thought I'd insert another photo taken a couple of months ago. It was taken at the last day of work at Quesnel Forks (our local ghost town) just after the cedar shake roof was installed. We're resurrecting them one at a time.

Believe it or not, that building was about 4 rounds tall and as flat as a pancake at the start of this summer. (I'm second from the right.)

P.S.: Sorry for the huge photo M.G., but I hope to make up for it by posting what we found. Our detectors are shovels and screens. I'll get off my butt and do that (New Year's Resolution). :sign13:

Bless you all. :icon_sunny:

Great Pic again even if it is a bit large LOL! If it wasn't for the clothes style I would think it was from at least the 40's! So now how about a new pic of Chance! :hello:

Here you go M.G., a before & after shot. He's quite tired in the last shot as he'd just come back from a long hike.

Happy New Year!
