Went back to the mine that I found that brass plate at & found this really nice AU 40 1915s Barber dime!!!!!! YES.... Also found a nice Indian Head penny 1907. Also I detected the area I belived to be a doctors tent, I do belive I was correct with that as I found a few screw on tops from what I would think was ointment tubes & alot of broken medicine bottles! seger98 cool finds that barber is a nice one...do you or anyone else have any idea what the little metal deal is above the barber in the second pic...I found one of those here in NY but have no idea what it is?

I'm pretty darn sure it's a garter for holding up socks? guys use to wear them too. I've been finding alot of them out here in AZ at the old mining camps & back home in WI & the U.P. of MI. at lumber camps!

That's exactly what they are for. And nylons too. I found on a few days back. It has Velvet Grip embossed on it. Here is an old ad from 1896 for them.
