Got out yesterday for an hour and a half yard hunt. I was finding mostly stuff from the 40s and 50s at first. The house was built in 1904 and I found a Barber quarter in the yard next door a couple days ago so I knew there had to be some old stuff. I dug the no date buffalo and the war nickel in the same hole and started to get my hopes up. Then I got a penny signal at 3 inches, out pops a memorial cent. I put my plug back in and started to move on, but then I turned around and hit the same spot again and got a weak nickel signal. I figured ther must be a newer nickel that was with the penny so I pulled the plug and probed around. I ended up digging a few more inches down and was surprised to find another buffalo. This one had a date: 1913. I hit the hole again and had a very weak and spotty nickel/pulltab signal. If I hadn't just pulled that buffalo out of the hole, I probably would've moved on but I dug some more and found another nickel: 1910 V. Found some more coins and was getting ready to leave when I decided to dig one more shallow penny signal. Turned out to be my best find of the day: a 5c token to the Palm in Kalispell. I've started collecting Kalispell tokens so this was a sweet dig for me.
Got home and cleaned everything and found out that the buffalo was a semi key 1913d type 2. It has great detail but is discolored. I think I'll try cleaning it with some Lime Away or something.
Penny dates: '45s (2), '52d, '53s, '54s,
Nickel Dates: '10, '13d, '43s, '52
Dime: '51s
new change 94c
Thanks for looking HH
