Sef 12x15 or 15in WOT?

Kellyco doesn't have any 12x15 sef coils in stock for my gt. I can get a WOT locally but I've heard the Sef is lighter and better. So...should I wait for the sef (they don't know when they'll get em at Kellyco) or go buy the WOT? Any input would be much appreciated

I can give you my personal experience with the 12x15 SEF coil on my White's V3. The SEF in my opinion is a lighter coil. I purchased it through KellyCo. Right off the start I noticed that the fixture that attaches to the coil itself was cross threaded and being plastic there was no way to tighten it up since the threads were stripped. I called KellyCo and explained my situation and they informed me that they were out of stock. My reply was, then give me a refund, I didn't spend that kind of money on poor workmanship. They told me to give them a week so they could call Bulgaria and find status. Well it took about 3 more weeks , but I did receive my coil. The only thing that really sucked was I had to pay $15.00 to ship it back to KellyCo. Since KellyCo is the only US distributor, they kind of have you by the short hairs. Once I received my replacement, it was fine and an excellent coil for depth and very easy to pinpoint with considering it's size. I hope this has helped you with your decision. Happy Hunting

I agree with Soup - I have both coils and would go with the 10x14 SEF from KellyCo!

I have the WOT coil, 12"x15" and 15"x18" SEF Butterfly for my Sov GT......I am going to splice the 12"15" inch on one of my Excals......All 3 are excellent coils..... One of my Excals has a WOT spliced on it, the other has the Sunray S-12 spliced on, I am going to take the S-12 off and splice on the 12"x15" SEF Butterfly coil on it......
