This was in a box of stuff I bought at a estate sale some time ago. It appears to be brass or copper. A lot of people have looked at it and no one knows what it is. The legs set flat on a table and are adjustable. It looks like it is meant to hold something. My guess was that it is missing a second set of adjustable legs. You can see two small holes in the center part were another set might of been. I was thinking its meant to set on a dinning room table and hold some kind of food dish. Thats why it is adjustable so it can fit different size dishes. LOL! at least it s a good story! What is this?
