It will find silver. I hit a small front yard of a early fifties home this morning. Wheat pennies were everywhere, 17 of them, so I knew that silver was likely to be there as well. I finally cornered a 1944 Mercury dime and 1956 Rosie. Both were heavily stained. Most of our coins in the area come out clean, but every once in awhile I find some that are greyed.
I set up the CZ in the Enhanced mode, 5.5 on the GB, sensitivity at 5.5, volume on '4' and '0' on the discrimination. This detector sure does run quiet!
This was my 59th hunt for the year and my silver coin total for the year now stands at 172.
