I have four of those, 1792, all within 3 feet of each other. They are made out of pewter and were dipped in brass to give them the "gold" color. Counterfeit. I posted my best looking one.

Alot of fakes being posted lately. Yours is sweeeet. Too bad it isnt the real deal. But very cool non the less. :thumbsup:
 

I found the identical coin and for the longest time thought it was a period fake...the next one will be real!

I found this one while cleaning out a storage unit, it was in a drawer, that answers questions regarding the material, as the "gold" color is shining through on mine,
these are interesting, where does this tolken come from, it's a counterfeit?

It also answer the question modern fake vs. Colonial counterfeit. (Definitely modern)
