Went out for a few hours this morning to a site I have been wanting to hunt for a year. I finally got permission last month and the cotton was picked last week. I was only able to hunt for a few hours and only hit a small portion of the property, but that was plenty to find some great coins. I got my first seated half dime and my first shield nickel. The nickel is almost unrecognizable but the half dime has a strong date. I also got a 1956 dime, 11 wheats, 1 Canadian penny from 1943, 2 tax tokens, and some odds and ends. thanks for looking and HH.
P.S. Does anyone know a safe way to get the stains off of the silver coins?
