Well I decided to hit another beach called Manhattan. This time I mounted the box on the top near the arm cuff area and it was much lighter this way . I also noticed the coil would slide on the water much better when mounted like this. I tried vco mode and normal both performed well. This time around its was coins only. This beach has never produced any decent jewelry for me but I thought what the heck ill try it with a Pi machine. I found about 3.40 in coins and a very small piece of costume jewelry. There were plenty of people on the beach. I didn't get manny targets in the water I'm guessen there just weren't manny. So I hit the volleyball courts and various dry sand areas. Also there were three tourists and one of them asked me if he could take a picture with my metal detector and I told them hell no. I told them there's three things a man owns you don't mess with one is his wallet the second one is his car and the third one is his metal detector so off they went. All and all it was a fun day. Got to try a different beach now. HH

Never let anyone hold your detector for a picture as they could run off with it. You learned something from the playground while in school. Nice hunt and the gold will come soon.

Your right Sandman and very smart to observe. When I was little a kid asked me to try my bike and ran off with it. From then on I learned real quick.

Never lend anyone anything especially strangers. Happy Hunting Sandman and thanks again.
