So it was our second hunt ever. We went rgiht back to the same spot that yeilded the IH Penny yesterday. We are still in the "we have no idea what we are doing phase".....but my 15 YO son and I are having a blast, even in the rain.
Not sure what we got for sure except a buckle part, a button and another bullet.
There is so much metal in this one area, it's hard to concentrate and dig it all. We tried to stay on coin mode and got some high numbers but never yeilded any coins.

Button like that is better than a clad coin, to me anyways. The thing in the top left corner of the 2nd picture, above the big ring thing, is an old door knob I'm pretty sure, I have found a few that look like that. I go out as the snow melts in the yard. All I got today was a 3 penny coinspill, one zincoln, one lincoln, and the last coin I thought would be just another clad penny and I hit it with my shovel as I was chipping the frozen ground away. Turned out to be a wheatie I dinged up. Just my luck! Keep at it!
