I teamed up with a buddy of mine and jumped in my boat after launching in one of Florida's popular lakes and found that secluded beach that everyone goes on the weekend to Partee, drink, swim and lose their stuff type of sites.? We are both in the water about 15 minutes when John holds up a man's gold wedding band.? Not to be out done, I looked into my floating sifting box and spied a gold ring and picked it up and it had something extra.? Hey John, I got me a gold ring too and it has 3 diamonds in it.? What a find!
After 5 hours of hunting we called it quits.? Besides the gold ring, I also found about $2.00 in clad money, 4 silver rings and a lot of pull tabs.? John found a white gold wedding band, about the same amount of change and the same amount of tabs.? To find the good stuff, you got to dig the junk.

The setting is 14 kt and the diamonds are 1/4 carets. ?One is a little yellow and free of flaws. ?The other two have flaws in them. ?I'll take it to Swalstead's Jewelers for a appraisal and will post the results here. ?

WTG!! :o Ive yet to find a ring with real diamonds but, im going to the beach soon! HH Jonathan
