Went for a hunt yesterday with the HOUND. We had a pretty cool day checking out a few spots. It rained us out after a few hours but it was well on its way to epic by the time we finished.

Here is a sweet key

And a sweet 1853 seated half dime. This
One came out of a hole loaded with nails.

I also picked up a thimble, horse rosette and an 1852 upper Canada penny.

Hound killed it and can post his own stuff lol.

Make sure to sub my youtube. It's all recorded!!

Sweet hunt, man. :) I love those seated dimes!

Never, ever, ever ,ever ( get the picture ) found a half dime. Big time on my bucket list. I have found several seated dimes but never found a half. Congrats my friend.:icon_thumleft:

Thanks! This is my second seated half dime. Both 1853 with arrows. Never found any other seated lol. Bunch of 1892 barbers though!

Seated is on my list! Nice finds.

Great find! Thanks for sharing...

Love it! good job picking up the small silver through the nails!

Not something we find up this way a lot ether...great find

I think it was 12:36. It's the same as the fish scale 5 cent pieces as far as size. The Canadian 5 cents are .925 and the US half dimes are 90% I believe. They can be anywhere from 12:30-12:40.

The seated was in with a bunch of nails, so not sure exactly where it would have been otherwise.

Really nice half dime. Congrats.

Nice find

Was good to see you pull that out of the hole :) We've been looking for one for a while... I was hoping it would be ME to find the first one hahah :)
