seated half dime

today my son fisher2 did not want to go md'ing
he spent the day with his girl friend
so i took my oldest son out
bobby has never had any luck with md'ing the few times he went out with me
today was his best day ever with a musket ball and the seated half dime
the first 1800 silver for any of us
the rest of the pictures are a few of the stuff we have been finding in this field
the other thing that we got was permission to do an 82 acre 1700 property
has we were leaving a person approached us and asked if we were finding any thing
this person was in a suit and walked out into the wet field to ask
it turns out he has a metal detector and has never used it and was wondering if we could show him the ropes so to speak
he also said don't worry i will not do this field
i told him i would be glad to show him what i can and as far as the field goes its big enough for all of us (22 acres)
so keep an eye up for our next post hopfully it will be real good
